    Reck-Ralph slsh4 build/maintain

So this is my slash I got used, supper sweet hop ups, 2200kv system, mips, clutch upgrade 17mm adapters. Great rig. But needs some love. I run 4s on this only.

One of my biggest problems is I am specifically roasting the back left bearings, like Disintegrating them. My thought is that there is no washer's at all around any of the bearings. It's just the bearings hub and axle then tires nothing in between to space them out.

Thx for any of the help.

There is supposed to be 2 ball bearing in that hub carrier. Unless it was actually running bushings. Either way I would replace the rear hub carriers and new ball bearings.

    Amains has them.

The thing is though, the carriers r fine, they got a little shaved from the mips, but that's it. I'll give it a try. Think I got some rpm carriers laying around.

If the carrieras are salvageable just toss some new bearings in and see how it goes.

Not off the top of my head, it's their rally body, just type in rally proline should come up. it is awesome, the guy before me did a horrible paint job. Uh well. I did put new bearings in, that's from new bearing in one run... crazy uh?!

Holy cow just one run and you toasted the bearings that bad?! Yeah there is definitely more going on. First possible culprit imo are the MIPs. MIP X-Duty axles have a limited suspension travel capability and the Slash 4x4 can be setup to go beyond that limit. Might want to check for possible binding at suspension travel extremes.

See their webpage for a list of parts and give them a call. Their customer service is great!

I might have a pair of spacers. I believe they came with the MIP 17mm hub adapters and I already had them from my axle shafts.
