Truck bodies with the quick release system

Hi Guys, got a bit of a dilemma. I really like my 2.0, but hate the wing and shell. I class it as a Monster truck not a Truggy.....

Ive had 3 E-Revo 1.0s prior to this and Ive always done the following

    Add a Proline Truck Shell
    Take the Wing off
Add a Nitro 3.3 Revo rear Bumper

    End result:

I started to do the same then I realised The 2.0 uses quick release system which only works with the stock shell?

I don't really want to retrofit 1.0 body posts, are there any shells that fit with the 2.0 quick release syste?

    Thanks

Truck bodies with the quick release system

You donít have to retrofit anything to make the 1.0 body posts fit on the 2.0. Itís a direct fit allowing you to run any body you want.

Edit: All you need for the front and rear is part #5314 just the posts front and rear, not the whole body mount. Put the posts into the 2.0 body mount.

I am curious about this as well, and have wondered if there's a way to take the cage and mounting system off of the old shell and just install it on an optional shell with the correct dimensions minus some trimming here and there.... i would imagine with some ingenuity and patience its possible.

I am also interested in this because I like the look of the trucks more than the truggys and the wing just gets destroyed.

I think I am either going to fab something which is doubtful. So I will probably either leave clipless and go proline and add a couple coats of brushed bedliner or wait to see if anyone releases anything either way Im ditching the wing.
