What was the MIP part number?

    Are you using aftermarket carriers?

If they are MIPs, they will be steel. Can you post a picture?

    1) Never tighten anything down as hard as you can on a hobby grade RC. It is just asking for it to break. If you are worried that it will come loose use thread lock.

    2) Take off the wheel take the axle carrier off and take the bearings out. Check to see if a small metal ring is between the 2 wheel bearings. If it is missing then you need a new one from MIP. These spacers stop the bearings from binding when you tighten the wheel nut.

Looks like you gotta buy a new stub axle to get the little ring.
