    E-Revo 2.0 Parts on E-Revo?

Well, I had my brushed E-Revo (still Titan 775 swapped) out for the first real use in years with a pair of Traxxas 7600 2s packs that I bought in November and was bashing with a friend and former co-worker tonight and, well, Ooops.................

Grenaded the u-joint ears on the right rear stub axle on a stock replacement when I lined up against a friend's Summit tonight. Has anybody tried to use the driveshafts and other parts from the 2.0 on the older E-Revos (or even 2.5R or 3.3 Revos)? Last I checked when at a one of my LHS' last September, the body and associated mounting pieces looked like they would swap over if I wanted to do so. I haven't worked at the LHS I had been associated with in nearly 3 years and am looking to get my R/C stuff going again, with this revamp of my E-Revo being an RPM heavy project I has been considering when I suddenly had a change in employment. Here's how the truck looked when I pulled it out of the hiding hole it was in a couple nights back. I painted that Charger body with Mopar touch up paint for my '98 Cherokee back when I first bought the truck in '08, but never photographed until this week.

The summit driveshafts might be an option for you as well. They are a bit more beefier than the stock ones that are on the OG erevo.

I had thought about those, but I don't think they're any beefier or even as. I saw more of those Summit CVDs that were tore up than the stock U-Joints in non crash related damages when I was working at the LHS. I also knew of guys running the brushless Revos that shook metal CVDs apart as well.
