    GTR Shocks on 2wd Slash?

    How do you put GTR Shocks on a 2wd Slash with lcg chassis? What arms do i need?

    Remove existing and replace with GTR.

    Its not that easy bud... the bottom of the gtr shocks are bigger than stock slash shocks. Not allowing it to fit into the a arm slots. This happens only for the fronts.

    Pop the hollow ball from the old shocks and put them in the new GTRs. If you measure the GTR ball you'll see they're wider. Even with the narrower ball in place you sometimes need to spread the arm to get the end in.

    Before i bought a shock pliers i used a regular pair of pliers. Put one jaw on plastic rod end away from the ball and push the ball through with the other pliers jaw. I also used the shaft of a hex driver to pry them out using the hole in the ball.
