I watched this when you postedit, nice run. I don't know how you guys can do it on a 2 lane road like that. My rustler vxl 2wd is a handful on a road with stock gearing. I am terrified of smashing a curb at speed.

That being said, I did go buy both taller gear options (lost the one that came in the kit) and am planning to give it a try in a big medical office parking lot nearby that is empty on the weekends and evenings. I am having more and more fun with the on road stuff and am already thinking about building up a couple of cars for on road drag race and another for top speed runs. That should make for a nice couple of projects this winter.

It gets easier the more you do it. Glad to hear the speed bug is catching on.

I wish I had a place close that I could do speed runs.
If I did, I would install collected parts from my bin and give it shot!

Keep it up... and the MPH!

I am sitting here looking at my slash 4x4 ultimate I have to rebuild while planning a bandit ground up drag/speed build and rethinking things. I think the slash 4x4 ultimate shocks will go to my rustler vxl 2wd basher and I will start ordering a few extra bits to lower the ride height for all these strc/rpm bits I bought for it. The guy I deal with at my closest LHS has a mean looking slash 4x4 drag car.

That's pretty dang sweet! With just a stop watch in my phone it was a rough 0-140 in 8.7 seconds!

If possible next time raise it (may be limited by the roof of the body) so we can see the road going by for more of a speed feeling.

Stuff was flying by! Did you have the camera setting adjusted for a smaller picture? The video size looked small for some reason.

Thanks guys, I have the gopro mounted about as high as possible. The slash 4x4 would make a great drag car. and camera setting i have no clue was using the quick app from Gopro.

What Transmitter and Receiver do you use? I don't think a standard Traxxas receiver has that much range does it?

kind of hard to tell, but it looks like your front drive shafts are running pretty straight. Do you have it lowered at all? Would love to see some pics with the body off.
    Awesome video by the way

What Center drive shaft are you using? I’m not running anywhere close to your speeds and my center drive shaft moves from sided to side so much that it has rubbed down part of my mount for my esc.
