Hobbywing max 6 combo package upgrade over 8s stock?

Looking into upgrading my xmaxx 8s and was wondering if the max 6 combo package with the 5687sl motor would be better then stock?

I don't have any direct experience with the motor, but if it's like any other RC I've had, bigger motor usually equals more power, more performance, more options. The 5687 is bigger than stock.

Seems like a good deal they have on the combo kits. I’m sure I can part ways with all my stock stuff for decent price as it’s All in good condition. I’m guessing I would have to purchase a new motor mount

For that motor yes. So figure another 75$ plus for a reputable motor mount.

I’m interested in your opinion when you mount up this motor.
I have been trying to keep my eye out for an aftermarket motor that’s a little bit bigger than stock, I’m happy with the power of the stock 8S motor but I’d like something a little bigger they can better handle the heat when it’s geared up.
Looking for replacements when I finally cook the stock motor.
