I run a RC Gearshop 4074 2150kv currently(don't think it's available anymore though) It's a torque monster and pushes my Slash easily to mid 40s geared 20/50 on an SMC 3 cell. I've also used the ElSob Funny car 2400kv and a Kershaw 3674 2700kv. The WP SC8 powered them all without flinching. Great esc for the buck. Grab a program card to make tweaks.

Do any of those fit in the chassis without modifying the chassis. (besides moving the receiver box) I wanted something with a little more power than the stock setup, Do they provide more power?

Move the receiver box up front and they drop right in.

Do you guys still run the Traxxas receiver and transmitter, or other options? I have both.

I was having issues with the range of the Traxxas receiver so I switched to a spektrem radio. Much better range

Great also Im worried that i'd have to grind a bit of the chassis off when fitting motors with bigger heat sink fins like this

Or is that only on the P4de

    Thanks
