Thanks, yous guys! I took some of the carbon fiber decals off. They didn't stick really well and after scrutinizing it, decided I didn't like it. Anyway... I caught the speed bug. Going to order a Mamba Max and see where it goes from there.

Go big or go home! :-) I'm barely used to my Bandit on 3s.

I read some guys are swapping in a Traxxas 2200KV motor & 6s ESC, or something like that. Is that similar to what you have planned?

I don't even know yet. I just started pricing the esc. On another note, I used medium thread locker on my pinion grub screw. I think some got in between the pinion and motor axle, as it is on there pretty good. The grub screw comes out, but the pinion wants to stay on. Any thoughts on this? I know to apply heat, but I'm hesitant.

    Go Blues!!!!!

I haven't had that happen yet but on screws where I get loosey goosey with blue 243 loctite I try and wiggle it back and forth and/or a light love tap with something softish/rubber (plastic handle of a screwdriver can work even as it should be softer than a pinion tooth on the hardness scale). I have never resorted to heat/flame since so much of the car is plastic.

I think it could fit... The SCT I have is 1.93(49mm) length, 1.48(38mm) width, and .79 (20mm) height. I didn't know Castle Creations and Traxxas teamed up. Sweet.

If not, u can prolly make it fit. The guy at my closest shop has a slash 4x4 drag build running 6s and pulling 75mph in 240ft. My slash 4x4 ultimate is awaiting a rebuild and I am now thinking about upgrading the esc and motor.... and upgrading my rustler vxl to 6s as well and I haven't even geared it up yet

Pretty sure I saw that 6s ESC/motor combo running in a Bandit on youtube. Or something very similar.
