    Permanent diff lock.

I'm getting pretty tired of having issues with my diffs. For the longest time (over a year) I had the diff lock work perfectly but recently it's been acting up. I've decided to super glue the locking ring into the locked position on both diffs. I'm wondering if the super glue will hold up tho because it will probably have a slight amount of back and forth movement under load that will probably cause the super glue to fail. If this doesn't work I'll turn to my reliable method of slapping as much jb weld as I can fit into the diff.

I don't really see a downside to having permanently locked diffs. How many of you guys have also done it?

    Unplug the servos.
    Undo servo horn carefully
    Pull cable to locked position
    Re connect servo horn.
    Locked full time
    Simple clean and free

The problem I'm having is the plastic c ring thing that moves the locking ring into place is popping out of track. I don't know why it's doing it but I'm just bypassing the diff lock system all together. I might end up just buying some spools if my method doesn't work

You will be better off just putting a spool in. Then you can have the option in the future if you change your mind, or if Traxxas finds a solution to these stupid micro servo issues we all have. I just pulled my cable to lock the rear and never even reconnected to the horn. Stays locked all the time.

Use the spool from the Sport in the diffs.
