    Weekend maintenance

Working on the old Slash over the last couple of days. Rebuilt the rear CVDs, cleaned her up, and modified some old 2.8 trenchers and put them on a set of 3.2 wheels. Also purchased some new trenchers as backups.

Thought so. How well does it fit?

I had to modify the stock mounts a little to use the pre made body holes.

Maintenance is a good way to better understand how your truck works. Every now and then you can figure out how to make it work more efficiently

My next project is to tackle the wiring and cleaning it up. Maybe adding a BEC I have laying around.

That would be a good idea. You wouldn't want to snag your wires on something and ruin it. Wiring sometimes drives me crazy but I always get it done

I agree on the maintenance. Vital to the life of the rig. My Platinum is due. No parts needed, just shock and diff fluid change, check bearings, and do a general clean up.

Like that body as well. Looks good.

Hope you can share the link where you bought those aluminum parts, I'd love to get my Slash some long overdue upgrades

I purchased them a while ago on Towerhobbies but they are the standard Traxxas aluminum parts.
