What batteries?!?!?!
(first thread) So I got an E-Revo (brushless, 1/16, VXL, blah blah blah...) and brought it out on the beach. An idiot kid, however, kicked it into the beach water carrying a certain kind of algae that corroded my battery. So I'm looking for a new one and my budget is about $20-$40. which batteries do you guys recommend?
I'm open for suggestions!!!

Smc is my choice.
Aalge didn't kill the battery. Water on in the contacts inside battery. Will short the battery. Car electric are water proof. But not the batteries.
Also salt water is very hard on the cars and more so battery connectors. They will corrode very fast when running at the beach. Even if not going in the water. Just the air /sand mositure in air ect... Wd40 and. Air compressor with safety glasses to blow sand off car after every run
Preventive maintenance and cleaning car after every run Will be the trick to lots of fun in the sand. Without replacement of corroded parts or extra worn down due to sand issues. Are other ways to mitigate this but gotta do your research.
