    Correct thread locker

Hey out there. I just discovered something out a week or so ago. Instead of using the blue thread locker try the medium strength purple stuff. Its specifically made for fasteners less than 1/4 thread size. It seems to be working well for me. Anyone else ever try it?

I always let my blue thread locker sit for at least twelve hours before I use the truck. Purple is a better choice? I haven't had blue come loose.

What brand are you using? In the Loctite line, purple is low strength, blue is medium and red is high strength. Permatex uses the same colour system. I’m not sure how other brands differentiate strengths. For RC, I use blue for metal/metal and Tamiya Red Gel for metal/plastic.
