Cool noise out of Mamba X!

Hello... I upgraded from a Sidewinder SCT and 3800 kv to a Mamba X with a 3800 kv. I geared it at 30/76. So, I was checking to see if everything worked. When I slowly give it throttle, it makes this super cool whirring noise as it revs up. Almost sounds like a spaceship. Really cool. I didn't notice the same noise out of the Sidewinder SCT. Anyone else hear a difference in sound between the esc's?

It's the new algorithm castle had implemented. Cuts down on cogging but the esc is a bit louder.

I see. I run the MXL-6S (castle MMv2) and the castle MMX. Didn't notice any odd "whining" sound, so thought perhaps he didn't have the mesh quite right.

I use a piece of notebook paper to set mesh, right?

Gearing has alot to do with the noise. More noise for more aggressive gearing. Or, if there is more drag on the drive train.
