    Question xl2 vs xlx

I know when released the xlx was worst than xl2 because of limitations, now that some time (2 years lol) have passed, is it still beneficial to buy xl2 for speed runs or is the amp issue fixed with xlx? Platform; Inferno gt2 with tp4070cm 2200kv 6s, this part of the forum seemed closest to what I was asking so I posted to xo-1. Xlx or xl2 for 120mph+ speedruns?

I have an XLX in my Xmaxx. When I first got it, it was good. A little while later Castle came up with a XLX software update. When I put in the improvement in power was very noticeable.

It used to cutoff under high amp loads (usually from speedrun motor, high kv big can like tp cm series), I hope it got fixed because I was unable to find xl2 brand new, so prob will be getting xlx new from castle

Yes, the firmware update fixed the issues in the XLX.
