    2nd Set of Batteries

    All -

I want to buy a second set of 3S batteries. I have a pair of the Lectron Pro 5200 mAh 50C batteries today, but looking for something different. SMC, SPC, Venom, Traxxas or other? If you have a proper link, that would be awesome.

    Whats your thoughts?

No worries! Yeah $45 each and all my SMC batteries have been great. Highly recommend them.

I second the smc batteries. Way better than the lectrons 50c 3s..

My Lectron's are running an XT60 with an adapter to the traxxas plug. I guess I just order with XT60s.

Im not a fan of adapters on 6s high amperage set ups. I myself run the Traxxas Gen 1 plugs. They are compatible with the E Revo 2.0 with no issue.

I ordered with XT60s. If I find issues, I can always have traxxas plugs soldered on.

The traxxas connectors have been fine for me, but I do steer clear of adapters. Used a harness once so I would not have to solder one of spare ESCs up to accept 2 batteries and the cheapo knock off traxxas connectors from the harness melted inside the genuine traxxas connectors on the ESC. Never again would I use them.
I've also had issues with battery to ESC adapters over heating. More resistance is not the way to go.

I swapped over to xt90s on mine. I had issues with the generic trx plug I put on my lectrons as the adapters were crap.

I got tired of melting trx plugs. Zero issues since swapping to xt90s.

Been running hobbystar 6200's in mine, but the the MXL-6S system from the v1. I've been running them in my outcast and savage flux with mmx/2200kv system as well and so far, they are doing great.
