    I have broken one. The tradeoff for having a beefy set pin going through the hex is not having a lot of meat around where the pin goes through the hex.

    I thought breaking an axle on a crawler was impossible... Until my son broke one on his TRX-4 But a hex nut? A metal one? Never seen that before!

    Make that two broken hex's same side as the broken portal input gear.That was a harder landing than I thought.lol

    I had the same thing happen! Funny story, my lhs didn't have the right hex in stock so I lined it back up with the screw still inserted, pressed the two halfs back together and put the wheel over it. Still holding to this day! I wouldn't recommend this if running plastic wheels. Seriously though, on my sport, it's still running a hex that's split down the middle. No I'll effects have been noticed.
