    Bashings first build!!!!

Hello, my E-Revo has suffered neglect and needs a rebuild/upgrade. I started by dyeing the chassis and rockers black. ( the idea is from SC11 thanks) Then I redid the center diff. I don't KNow what to name the build so ideas are encouraged. Parts list and pics will come later.

I decided to name the build blue-Revo because the chassis and rockers came out more blue than black.

Quick update I decided to skip the fans since I never run more than one set of battery packs so temps aren't a real concern for me. I also decided to swap the swampers with the belted removable hex trenchers.

When I got mine I wasnt able to finish a set of battery packs because the motor would over heat.

Hey everyone looks like the receiver for my X-maxx decided to die. haha, So I was thinking of switching the working receiver on my Revo to the Maxx. I want a new receiver and transmitter for the 2.0. I don't want to spend a lot so not a Futaba but maybe a dx5 rugged or just stock what do you guys think.

So this build is now gonna be changed a little it will be scaled down so nothing like sc11s build.
Here is the updated parts list.

    8654R red wheel hubs
    6511 wireless module
    7758R red wheel nuts

    8616 wing mount
    6446 black wing
    5627 battery doors
    New 5-channel Traxxas receiver
Custom 90 wheelie bar (which any pointers on that would be very much appreciated)

proline brute bash for the 2.0 (yes they finally made it)

    Two questions
First won't limiting straps affect suspension travel making other things more likely to break? Or does it not have that effect and it just helps with the pushrod problem?
Second, are stainless steel screws better because I have read on the forums that they are softer which scares me when it comes to stripping. Does the anti-rust factor outway the softness aspect?

Another update I decided to do a custom body. The new name of the build (and hopefully final one) is "The mad stallion." I will also try to complete the work of dyeing the chassis and rockers.
