Electric truck with the most pulling power

What electric vehicle that Traxxas makes do you think can pull the most weight. I am wondering if anything could pull a reel mower up a decent size hill.

    That would be my vote.

But, it will need different tires, different gearing, and a good deal of weight added to it to pull a mower up a grassy hill.

I would have thought a geared down Summit in 1st would be best. Am I wrong?

The X-Maxx is larger in all respects, the Summit just has the brushed Titan, whereas the X-Maxx has that massive 1/7 scale 8S brushless power system in it.

Look on YouTube, an xmaxx pulled a carola. I think it can pull a lawn mower.

    The X-Maxx

Are you asking a reel mower or a lawn mower? (They are two different mowers)

If it would pull a reel mower, probably but I don't think it would work out to good. But it would have a better chance with a lawnmower.

Yeah, just watched that video. Impressive, and if the mower is on flat pavement, it will pull it all day long.

Yeah a reel mower. Something like this minus the handle.

While Iím sure the Xmaxx is a powerhouse, donít leave the summit out. Iíve pulled 2 kids and myself on a heavy duty garden wagon made of steel, and I had no problem pulling us along around the entire block. Iíve also seen the summit push cars as well on YouTube. With low gear and the diffs locked, itís a brute of a truck. Iím sure the xmaxx is more powerful, but at the same time I would love to see a tug of war between the 2!

The reason I asked is I have used them in the past. They work well on a groomed lawn. Trying to use it in tall grass, uneven ground, and twigs it becomes quite a chore. They don't like to keep turning in it. When the blades would stop with debris in the cutting edge I would have to back it up to dislodge. When the blades stop the drive wheels stop turning too and you would be dragging dead weight.

Awesome video man! Thx much for posting that! Xmaxx for the win for sure! I would like to see a brushless motor setup in the summit though. Something low KV like 1500kv or something. Then it might stand a chance LOL! Great vid and hands down the Xmaxx won. Larger truck and Iím sure weighs a lot more then the summit did. At any rate, I am still a summit fanboy, until I get an Xmaxx that is!!
