    id charger not working?

    Hi guys,

I'm not sure if all my batteries are bad or if the charger is bad. It will not charge any of the lippo batteries that I have for the xmaxx. They all are the 6700's from traxxas. I am guessing the batteries could be bad they were sitting for a month. When I plug the charger in to the wall all the lights light up and stay lit up, I don't recall it doing that before.

Did you look in the manual for your particular charger?

All lights lit means internal temp too high on many if not all of the chargers...look up your particular charger.

Interesting...because your symptoms are all lights lit and on page 23 of your manual it says that means the internal temp is too high and you should unplug it and let it cool.

Call traxxas. I had that happen to me twice. They sent me out new chargers both times. They said it’s a software problem.

I saw a video where a guy was having the same issue and it happened to be the prongs on the charger that connect to battery, he used tweezers to pull them out

I sent it back with a set of batteries for them to check. They sent me a new charger and a new set of batteries.

Great news. It’s a problem with the chargers. They are aware of it.

Yes, it was weird. As soon as you plugged it in to the wall all the lights lit up and stayed lit. I am glad Traxxas helped me out and replaced the charger.
