    Smc 3s 9200 Lipos or traxxas 3s 8400 lipos

Which would be better route? Anyone have smc 9200? How’s the run time?

I have SMC 3s 9200mah batteries. So far I like them, but I don't use mine with my Xmaxx. I use mine with my heavily modified Spartan. So far, so good though.

Runtime is going to be determined a lot by driving type and terrain.

I THINK I'm getting around 30-40 minutes or so from my 8400s, but I drive fairly mild.

I think the SMCs will obviously perform better simply because of their rating. I run SMC in pretty much everything. I think I have about 15 total from 2s to 6s. The only thing the traxxas would have over the SMC is the warranty. From what I've read from others experiences, SMC although they do advertise a warranty, rarely honors it and is quick to blame the user. I've had 2 die prematurely and I didn't even bother trying. Certainly not the good customer service you'll recieve from traxxas.

It'll charge them, just not as fast as more expensive and powerful chargers out there.
