    Please help

I have a Slash 2wd brushed, the antenna on it got damaged and the truck only goes about 50 feet before losing signal, is there a way to fix this without replacing the whole radio?

The important thing if itís a 2.4ghz system is that 30mm of the antenna is exposed from the larger jacket, not bare wire, but the inner jacket. If you broke it youíll see what I mean

    Somehow builds are never done....

Coaxial 2.4ghz antenna's are very sensitive as to how much is sticking out of the shielding. Found that out the hard way as well when I nipped the end off my antenna.
    Expert rigging at it's best!

As with all antennas, they are cut to a precise length. That is how they get tuned, they are cut to frequency.
