Y'all think it would be safe/wise to hang your trucks from their bumpers?

I would love to have hooks on the ceiling and have the trucks like hang against the wall or something... I carry them from the bumpers, so do you think storing them that way is OK?

Right now I keep them on blocks to so the suspension is fully relaxed.

    Thoughts?
If it's not breaking, you're not doing it right.

I've thought the same thing but haven't tried it...I'm kinda low on wall space. I currently have some on 3-tier carts. The only one supported at the moment (Not at the time of the picture though.) is the Summit because it's tires are so soft. I have the Defender on a workstand on a shelf for the same reason.

I picked up three of these carts.

I would hang it with the body off and suspend from the shocktowers

I hang both of mine. From bumper on the wall. Batteries out they don’t weigh much.

I just keep them on blocks so the arms hang and tires don't touch to avoid spring fatigue, flat spots on the tires and excessive bowing of RPM arms.

    Expert rigging at it's best!

This is my preferred method of hanging them. Otherwise put them on blocks, or a makeshift stand out of ripped X-Maxx tires to keep them from sliding off blocks.

I leave mine up-side down on the shock towers with the cover off.

Same here. While not an Xmaxx, my summit isnít a lightweight by any means. I lay mine upside down on the shock towers as well. Doesnít seem to bother them. But the Xmaxx is a lot heavier, being close to 20lbs. Why not put a couple of plant hangers up and then hang it with some strong fishing line. Just a thought. Or even parachute cord.
