clicking noise when turning to the left

So, Traxxas support sent me a new engine, as a replacement from the one it came with which was great! My son was out (for the first drive with new motor) driving the truck around at the park in some gravel when the wheels stuck in the left position and was making a noise like the servo was still turning. There was a small rock stuck preventing the wheels to return back straight. I removed it and thought all would be fine, but no when you turn the wheel again the servo turned on but then stayed on.
So last night I took the servo apart to check for stripped gears etc. I didn't notice anything and put it back together. It seemed to work fine turning right but turning left now clicks. I haven't taken it back apart yet, but just looking for ideas suggestions.
    thanks

I would guess misaligned or broken tooth on a gear.

Depending on the gear you may be able to rotate it to a good section and run as-is.

Thanks. I didn't see any broken teeth on a gear. I will see about rotating it and see what happens.
