Traxxas 6851r for jumps? Stock drive shaft snapped

    Hello.

My son bashing pretty hard, bought him 6852r steel drive shaft rear for stampede 4x4 for two summers ago, they still keeping up even on 3s.
Moved them over to the rustler 4x4 vxl and it seems to work fine.
But the front shaft snapped after 4-5 runs, the part that is mounted on the diff broke off after landing bad from a home made jump on grass.

The question is if anyone have experiences with the front cvd and hard bashing?
If he is unlucky and destroy the steel one, is it possible to just buy the part that snaps just like you can do on the stock plastic shaft, i cant find part Numbers for the cvd.

Want to get some answers before i decide to upgrade the front shafts since they are expensive.

    Best Regards Ray

Exactly which part of the driveshaft broke? Can you please attach a photo?

The stock front shaft snapped, the part that you mount with a screw into the diff, the first plastic part on the shaft (not the side where you mount the wheel nut) but the inner yokes or what its called. One of the "arm" that hold the metal ball snapped right off

Was asking because of where mine snapped. In my case, it was the axle stub, right where the pin goes through (the pin that holds the 12mm hex). Was trying to find out if yours snapped where the screw goes through.
