Sluggish Acceleration when OBA is turned on

When I leave OBA off, my monster slash is a wheelie machine. With it on, it's very timid off the line. It eventually will get full throttle but it takes 2 or 3 seconds.

I know that both channel 2 and channel 3 go through the OBA module (which allows the parking brake to work via channel 3) so is it scaling back the receiver's input in an effort to match the sounds with the revs? Is this normal? Any way to keep audio but not limit the channel 2 input?

I want to keep audio because it make playing with the dogs a bit more fun. (They *love* chasing the truck) But if I want to have fun, I have to turn it off.

    Thanks in advance,

    Slash Ultimate w/OBA

Are you using a NIMH or a Li-Po battery?
