    Soldering iron

    What soldering iron are you folks using? Basic requirements?

    Recommend at least a 40W iron, but if you are going to be soldering on your own battery connectors, go at least 60W.

    At work I use 80W Weller solder station, they are wonderful to use and professional quality, but they also come with a professional quality price. At home I have a TrakPower TK-950, so far I have been very happy with it, and it easily handles everything from 22g LED wire to 12g battery wire.
