    Finally, belted tires

    https://www.prolineracing.com/tires/...es-mounted.asp

Has anyone had a change to try these? You could probably buy a car tire for the same price.

The old trencher had loads of traction so I'm hoping this tire isnt much heavier. I've been happy with my revo 2.0 and not rebuilding drive line everytime I changed the battery

If you want belted get a 3.8 Duratrax lockup it’s the same pattern as a trencher and is much more affordable

Holy cow...$72 bucks a pair! They look great and belted is a HUGE plus...but that is too pricey for sure IMO.

Do the duratrax 3.8 come in a belted version? If not, regular duratrax tires balloon extremely bad.

I thought that they wouldn’t balloon either considering the Xmaxx ones don’t

If you’re looking for a on road and more speed tire that wont balloon I would get the SRC sweep racing terrain crushers they are about $120 a set and are belted

I've seen them balloon and burst on stock gearing and 6s.

I have proline blockades which is one of thier SCT and buggy race tire patterns so assumed it would be able to handle speed but they balloon and vibrate the truck to an uncontrolled manner at only half throttle.

The stock talons are great on 6S for bashing so far. Youd almost be nuts to pay over $140 for 4 tires

I have blockades, I taped them so they were good for a while, now that they are a year old the sidewalls have stretched and do balloon a bit. I could see how if un-taped they would be a nightmare. Awesome while they lasted, still run them sometimes till this day.

Sigh...I wish my car tires were that cheap! I got a few quotes and the best I'm gonna get is $1k all around.

I used to wrench a lot but that was back when I was getting 70-74 Cudas and Challengers for under $1k...most around $500 or under...not today!

I remember getting Road Hugger Radials for $39.95/ea mounted, balanced and warranteed. Now, My Charger requires minimum W speed rated tires or something like that!

I don't complain about the Traxxas prices...I think they are worth the fun!

Plus! They are cheaper than a therapist!

We could start support groups, have sponsors etc..
