Slash 44 ultimate roller $125 good deal?

I'm looking to trade for 2wd slash for a 44. Guy said he would take it and $125 cash for a 44 roller. Is that a good deal?

Generally yes, but it also depends on its condition. At that price be prepared to rebuild the diffs, the shocks, and replace the bearings, the steering servo as well, if it comes with one.

Think about what you are getting, how much more you need to spend and what that overall cost would be compared to new. No reason to have the total cost of a used RC be more than the price of a new.

I would say yes that is a good deal. Especially since it is not a roller (I see esc, motor, servo etc...)

Slash 44 ultimate roller $125 good deal?

Not keeping your electronics from the 2wd and not getting the electronics on the 4x4 I see this costing you the price of a new VXL 4x4, one plus is it looks like a LCG chassis.

If it comes like the picture and the motor/esc are good then I see it as being a decent deal.

Depends on the electronics for sure, but you can get a vxl hcg roller missing the electronics brand new on ebay for $200. I got one and put the tekno drive shafts/robinson spur in it along with my castle motor/mamba monster x esc.

Decided I'm not going for it because he said he would not include the electronics.

Def good choice. You can get a 4x4 roller for a little more and keep your 2wd rig. Look on the traxxas buy sell trade on fb too.
