Not terrible, if you’re not super handy. Too much to pay if you are. Think the ESC is 200, my 5898 was 160, mount was 60, Rustler box 10ish, CF stock=not much. So yeah. Not a bad deal if you want someone else to build your ride, not judging, just saying.

I have the motor mount, esc plate, 25/35 gears. I run a max 5 and a hobbystar 56112 780kv motor, so pretty similar. Their products are very nice. I've had mine since April, no complaints. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the 3d printed reciever box. Everything is else is very nicely made and fits perfectly.

Yes go for it I know the owner personally and he is great I have the motor mount battery tray and esc plate plus belt drive it is great

What kind of speed are you looking at with this set up? Is this a good deal hobbbywing sells esc and motor for 340. How hard is it to attach traxxas ends

WFO are working up a gearing chart. So stock gearing can be compared to aftermarket gearing.

The traxxas batteries I have are are the 6700mah 4s 25c.

Will these batteries work with my motor and maxx5?

If not I’m looking at buying a set of batteries.

Poor communication on their part, or better described as non existent. Something seemed fishy from the start. My hunch about something being weard was 100% correct.

Recieved confirmation of order same day
On my original order was the 30/35 gears. I asked 3 times after my order was placed and before it was shipped to get the gearing changed to 25/30.

M Martinez used excuses like I was fighting a flood in Texas. For his crappy response times. I was told it’s a custom order and it takes time. Nothing custom about the order. Just stuff bought off the site.

I was provided a screen shot of a Facebook page that I was told was the owner.
I was asked if I wanted to can Cancel my order. After my money was taken.
Again I asked yo hey gearing changed
I was told owner is working on it.

Owner sent the gears that were on the original order they were not changed even though I asked 3 times.

Now that I have the wrong gears m Martinez wants me to send them back at my expense when they receive them they will mail at my expense the 25/30 gears to me.
I told him to ship out the correct gears with a prepaid envelope to me and I’d mail the wrong gears back.

You jut ordered things that can be procured anywhere. Having it bundled as a kit is nice. If I have to badger someone to get what I paid for, no return customer.

I know he is your buddy and maybe you get preferential treatment, but more than once I had to PM him multiple times and eventually after weeks of no results had to go to Mike instead who helped me immediately. I know he has had some major personal issues lately but my experience was 6 months ago before WFO existed. He isn't a shyster by any means, very good dude from what I can tell, but the service is sketchy at best. If your going to represent yourself as a legitimate buisness with a website that supports ordering online you need to deliver. Not cool telling somebody a month long horrible customer service experience is their fault because they wanted to change something.

Communication is non existent.

I was told to send back the wrong gears that I told them to change 3 times! I already paid $87.26 usd to get that stuff shipped here. Yes that is a outrageous shipping cost!

I was told that I need to ship the wrong gears back at my expense and they will ship the correct gears to me, which I’d probably have to pay for. I told Martinez to ship the gears to me with a prepaid return envelope and I will return the incorrect gears they sent. Because it was his screw up! Never got a response.

Im giving them till tomorrow evening.

What is Brian’s last name? I’ve asked for him to contact me numerous times. No success.
