    Hobbywing max 5 and 56113

Found this, it has everything I need to convert one of my xmaxxís to a monster.

    Thoughts?

I can buy the hobbywing stuff from anywhere but what are my options for a motor mount and gears.

Not terrible, if youíre not super handy. Too much to pay if you are. Think the ESC is 200, my 5898 was 160, mount was 60, Rustler box 10ish, CF stock=not much. So yeah. Not a bad deal if you want someone else to build your ride, not judging, just saying.

I have the motor mount, esc plate, 25/35 gears. I run a max 5 and a hobbystar 56112 780kv motor, so pretty similar. Their products are very nice. I've had mine since April, no complaints. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the 3d printed reciever box. Everything is else is very nicely made and fits perfectly.

What kind of speed are you looking at with this set up? Is this a good deal hobbbywing sells esc and motor for 340. How hard is it to attach traxxas ends

WFO are working up a gearing chart. So stock gearing can be compared to aftermarket gearing.

So I got most stuff lined up. Waiting on motor and esc.

The traxxas batteries I have are are the 6700mah 4s 25c.

Will these batteries work with my motor and maxx5?

If not I’m looking at buying a set of batteries.

Id use a nice set hobby star 8000mah

For these batteries you will need battery trays most likely

There are batteries from overseas that are banned from being mentioned. Their names will be "*" out so edit your post and refrain from referencing them in any way in the future.

Contact a mod directly is best on that. Simply put it was copy write problems I believe. But as stated best to contact moderators.

list is anything from a website from Hong Kong. If the language filter has tripped then edit your post. I can’t post the names either as they will get covered up and I get no special privilege to name them.

Have you got it running yet? Interested in how you like it, I’m very interested in going this route with mine. I have the smc 4s lipos and they are very nice if your still looking for batteries

I have everything but motor and esc. Waiting on it from my lhs.

    I hate waiting.

I’m going to try the 6700 traxxas 4s 25c batteries.
I am going to pick up a couple GENS ACE 4S 15.2V 7500MAH LIHV 100C LIPO BATTERY PACKS
