Slash 2WD Drag Build - who's done it?

I'm looking to get into the 2S-3S drag world to race against some local RC enthusiasts

Who has built a Slash 2WD drag car? Tell me all about it!

Are the bandit arms needed? Or could I just buy a Slash slider w/ LCG chassis and be ok?

It depends on the body you use. The "drag" car bodies are narrower and require the bandit arms unless you want the front and rear tires sticking out of the body.

There's a link to a Chuckworks chassis if you haven't seen that yet.

Stock A arms vs Bandit ones are going to depend on body choice. I think J Concepts says ok their website which wheel and A arm combo they recommend with each body
