Belted tires, how did I miss these?

I have been waiting for this technology to hit RC tires for years. I am just shocked they came out without being a big deal.

Gotta get me a set soon for my Slash MT.

Not surprising really they have several 6s models. Amain has had them since Aug 16, 2019 but how long have they been around?

I think there are a lot of companies that are late to the game. I (and many others) have been belting our own toes for years. Belted tires have been more common in the touring car and even the M chassis market for years. Do a little look around on YouTube to find diy instructions.

Are you talking about duct taping tires? Because that has been common since the beginning but has its own problems.

Absolutely love the belted trenchers. Got mine the day they came out. No ballooning at all. Speed drops a little and back flips are Harder, but good consistent speed, no damaged bodies, and front flips are perfect.

Beware the 17mm raid hexes are garbage.

Edit: they also redesigned tread a bit.
