    Bad Turning Radius

Hey I have a 2wd rustler with a Castle 3800kv system in it.

I have noticed that the turning radius seems to just be really bad. Sometimes it turns to the left just fine but turning to the right has almost double the radius of turning left....

What is the deal here? I have messed with the steering servo adjustment on the transmitter and all that does is shift the inbalance to the other direction.

Do I need to take apart the steering rods and reconnect them or something???

Rods should be the same length, servo may need to be centered. How’s your steering trim. Too far either way is an issue.

    Somehow builds are never done....

If all else fails check the transmission.

The kingpin is the one that goes vertically through the caster block. They get bent pretty easily. I think the best solution is to upgrade to aluminum blocks.

You could also look closely at your servo saver and make sure it isn’t banged up. I had a similar issue once, almost exactly as you describe, and the stock servo saver was about busted in half.

Not sure about the tranny comment. Good luck!

If nothing else seems to be wrong there is a possibility you only have 1 wheel getting power. And if it is the right rear it would be hard to make tight right turns.
