Hey Guys,
since i own the XO-1 i bother with the suspension. I think that its ok on a 3S, 1/10 offroad car(it was developed for the slash), but in the XO it feels not right. The car is much bigger, stronger and heavyer, also the higher grip puts more force on the suspension. Not long ago i found and ordered these: https://www.gpmparts.com/traxxas-110...g-p-15438.html
Its made for the slash, but with some light modifikations, it will fit the XO-1! I installed one front side already and the wheel feels more stable and connected to the car, like you would expect if you read about the theoretical advantages of the double wishbone system. Maybe -and thats my goal- you can use a second kit on the rear wheels.
What modifications did you have to do, for this to fit?
have you tried it yet ? if so what were the results ? ….. thanks

Im not ready yet but here are some pictures. The red places(front) must be modified. To line the new rod perfect, you have to use a longer screw and a spacer or nuts. Because of the outmoving and thicker rod the suspension must also move out(not done yet). In the back, there is more to do. I want to swap the suspension to the backside and mill the bracket(not on the picture, to thick) thin.

I ran these same parts on the 4Tec 2.0 (smaller version made for it)
The upper braces majorly removed any slop front to rear in the suspension.
This is a good mod for speed to keep the toe and camber where you set it on the work bench!
thanks ………….. steve

Conversion is done. Im not a driving expert with this car, but i think it handles more precise. However the mod clearly removes much wobble from the wheel, so for me it was worth it. I plan to do the same on the back...
