    Nomad slash

Got my nomad body today and got it fitted to my slash chassis. I had to move the shocks in to get the truck to sit taller and clear the body, and added the pro line adjustable mounts to get the back up to clear on shock travel.

    Looks nice
I wish the rear bumper could be closer to the body

    Looks good!

TBH, I was hoping for a Chevy Nomad body. One of these days...

Maybe get a T-bone racing one and bend it?

I wonder if the stampede bumper minus the wheelie bar would give it a little protection

Or, you could mod the stock one...cut it down, drill new screw holes, etc. "Interesting" thing is, the cage/body kinda reserves my new Axial Capra (Not quote finished, so can't share a photo...but, if you Google "Axial Capra", you find lots of examples).

Removed the bumper and used the rear bumper off the backslash build that I took off to put the stampede rear bumper/wheelie bar on.

It is one awesome looking rig. I think I would still put the Stampede rear bumper on for just something to be there for any cartwheeling that might happen.

+1 on the Stampede rear bumper.
It would look good since your body/cage overhangs back there anyways.

Looks cool, I'd definitely get a bumper on there. I've come down too many times right on the bumper.

I was kinda thinking the same thing about the Capra. I put a Yeti cage on mine...as several others have done. Love it.

    Nomad looks good too!

I like the idea of the Capra a little better for wheel clearance for sure. I really jacked this one up to get clearance at full shock travel.

Well, the Slash isn't exactly a 'crawler'...it's not designed to be "high". Initially, I did with one of Rustlers (using 'rear' GTRs) what you did with your Slash. As soon as I realized how high it was, I immediately replaced all four 'front' GTRs. If course, I should mention I had replaced the Rusty's stock shock towers with a pair of XO-1 front shock towers (I'm still working out a few final details of the project, but I decided to take a break from it to work on my TLR 22T 4.0 & Annual Capra).

The wheelie bar got me thinking...would the 2wd rustler rpm wide bumper fit the stampede rear bumper?
