    Wheel Base help

I have recently picked up a 4 tec 2.0 and need a about inch longer wheel base if I can to fit a body I picked up for it( if nothing else I can mod the body some). I know I can move the rear back 3mm. Has anyone moved it more? Maybe a mod, different control arms or anything? Any help or ideas would be great.

I don't know... You'd probably need a custom carbon fiber chassis and a longer driveshaft made. Or cut the stock chassis across the middle, extend and mend. Still need a driveshaft though.

Although I have never done it to mine, I have found instructions on how to do so on page 26 of the owner's manual.

    Online manual link:

Here's what it says (there is a picture on the manual about it)

"The 4-Tec 2.0 chassis allows you to lengthen or shorten the
wheelbase by up to 3mm for the perfect body fit. Remove the rear
suspension arms from the vehicle and trim material from the front
or rear of the arms. Save the material you remove and add it to the
opposite side of the arms to act as a spacer, or use washers to shim
the arms. Note: The front suspension arms are not adjustable and
should not be modified or trimmed." (Page 26)

    Hope this helps!
