    17 mm extension

What do you recommend for widening the driveshaft at the hub to extend the tires from the carriers? I need about 30 mm so I can run 2.8 proline paddle tires. I have some ideas but not sure the shaft size at the pin connection point where the hub mounts. Thinking around 6mm.

I am using these. They fit perfect. Give me 6mm extension, their orange and the cap nuts cover the axle ends.

I haven't had a chance to run it as we got a few inches of snow and I don't run my trucks in snow. Hopefully get it out next week. I have changed my shock oil to 40wt in front and 50wt in the rear. I have moved the shock bottom mounts to the outside hole and then added these extensions. Hope for at least a little better handling.

Have you had a chance to see how it handles yet?

I have not. It was finely nicer out today and I only had a little time so I ended up taking out the X-Maxx. To be honest, I got them because they are orange and cover the end of the shaft. Hoping to see a little better handling. I have also done a few other changes too. If I do see a difference I can't say it is entirely because of the extensions.

These are the same extensions that I shared earlier in this thread that I have. Do you think they made any difference? I still haven't had a chance to run mine.

Ya I used your link and installed and run with paddles. More stable in turns. I move the shocks to the outside hole on the a arms.
