    WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!!!

There are lots of places to buy parts. Recommend seeking out your local hobby shop to start with. "upgrade parts" paints with a fairly broad stroke, what do you what your Slash to do better than what it is doing right now?

What part of SoCal are you in? I'm in the San Fernando Valley area and have been going to eHobbyHouse in Reseda. I am still pretty green to RC cars but have a Slash 2wd and 4x4 and am still trying to find some quality areas to bash at...

Welcome to the Traxxas forums and congrats on your Slash!

I don't know about the hobby shops around you, but Pegasus is in Montclair:

There is also Tony's Hobbies in Baldwin Park:

Quick search in Fullerton found these:

Well I am a real fan of speed so wanting to run 4s batteries and build anything stronger that I need to. Also just looking for a great hobby store as I have a gelande 1/18th I got 4 or 5 years ago, kids beat it up and I want to get it running again. Needs wheels and tires and drive shafts to start. May need more once I get those parts.
