    Nitro Slash drag setup

I want to setup my nitro Slash for drag racing any thoughts would be helpful. I have electric Slash on 4s but getting bored with it. Really want to beat up the electric competition with some noise! Thank you

I just finished installing all my no prep drag parts from my 2wd electric rustler, to my 2WD Nitro Slash!
Absolutely looking forward to some real testing. This is my first nitro rc, so Im learning as I go.

If your username suggests anything about you, I see why you want to build a nitro slash drag racer! Haha.

Remove weight where you can, replace all bushings with bearings, mod the motor, run 30% fuel, get tighter aluminum clutch shoes for later engagement.

It's hard to get good acceleration and top speed with a single speed transmission without a bigger motor. Experiment, and choose gearing wisely depending on the length of strip you plan to run. Otherwise, maybe try and shove a jato transmission in there! Hope this helps.

nebulous.cow, check out Big Dog RC, on Face book. Just paved a road course and put in a drag strip with pro tree. Good video today with a Nitro Slash on it's lid after a blow over!
