I've got a Fitbit Zip, which I used to use A LOT when I worked for that horrible "A-to-Z" company. Before the Kiva robots were being in, we walked up & down hundreds of aisles, picking products, and I used it to track my distance. Honestly, it was fantastic. The key to accurately tracking distance is knowing, and programming, your stride. If you have a stride that's greater, or less than, the "average" (don't quote me on this, but I think the Zip default is, or was, 39"), then your total distance could be way off. As for me, back when we walked those aisles, I would typically walk approx 20 miles per 10hr shift (my record was 28.82mi).

So far the only problem I've found is it interfering with the gloves I bought to use at the gym, now that I'm going again, so I just used the last hole on the large band and moved it up my arm a bit, but I did get the one that has the navy blue band in the box, so if I have to, I can swap that out. For anybody wondering, when I last had a membership from 2006-2014, I had developed some noticeable callouses on my hands within a couple years of joining, so I bought some gloves then and picked up a new pair to have from the get go.

Exercise trackers are still very unreliable.

I've never paid much attention to how much time I've spent at the gym, but this did track that with this fitbit today, 45 minutes on cardio and just short of an hour on the weights
