Doing some spins in the dirt, and caught the inside of the right rear tire on a tree root. Ripped it right off the wheel. Unfortunately, it damaged the bead as well. Any recommendations on new tires?

Let’s see, I installed a GPM servo saver, GPM servo mount, TRAXXAS steering links, new 17mm red hubs, ProLine street tires, high torque 400 servo, and green roof and rear spoilers

Got some tires today. Found a local guy selling lightly used stock tires for cheap, so I couldn't pass it up.

Also put 45 weight shock oil all around, and changed the rear diff to 500k. The shock oil and rear diff changes make it feel so much more stable. It should have come like that.

My MAXX gang got another sibling today..
Long story short..LHS had a raffle..young guy won the Orange/blue MAXX..brought it back said esc was stuck in training mode would rather have store credit so he can buy parts for his hobby grade race truck..LHS took that deal, put a new esc in it, ran 2 battery packs thru it and posted it on the auction site..it sat for 4 days without a single bite (Shipping cost was the deal killer but don't tell anyone) I offered $425usd drove 1.5 hr and it came home to meet the others..How could you refuse?

Installed the Traxxas 2085X servo, it’s really powerful compared to the stock 2090 servo.

Installed some Satin silver 8972X beadlock look wheels..

The Satin silver has the most color coverage of all offerings in colors..the other beadlock colors just have a thin strip around the beadlock edge

Lost a stock axle nut on 1 Maxx- used a udr axle nut
for the run until a stock tire blew its tread off
Spun a stock motor bearing last week
Installed a 2150kv motor- ran great today

Just get out there and play

Finally landed my first real backflips! Bashed it hard today and nothing broke! Very pleased with how tough this truck is.

Got a new fan for 5 bucks on amazon. Broke all the blades off the stock one. After doing research online and youtube i figured I'd try this mod. Glued a small piece of plastic inside the shroud so if the fan flexes or bounces on a bad crash the blades won't hit the shroud and snap off. Also shimmed the outside of the fan with tiny strips of lexan to stop it moving inside the shroud. Will see if this all makes a difference! Paying 30 bucks for a new fan from traxxas just seemed crazy to me.
