Last summer I had been doing some parking lot bashing on Friday nights with my friend, who was bringing his mid motor 2wd Slash and Losi 8ight (I think it's a 3.0) and found my Stampede was a bit outmatched compared to either, no matter how well I had it set up. Well...............I had these piles of parts start to devlop.
As of Thurdsay, things got under way and as of a little while ago, here's what the above piles have begun to look like!

In the process of messing with this thing tonight, I found a Proline Racing hing pin brace for the 2wd Slash I forgot I bought in February or March, so I installed that too! The body is a JConcepts Illuzion High Speed for the Bandit and painted with Pactra’s version of Testors Corp’s Lime Ice Green lacquer.

I’m curious to hear how those tires work. I tried extended arms on a bandit before and it understeered a lot, perhaps the tires will make a difference.
The tires are only part of my plan here, I’ve done what I can to jack the weight forward on the car, that’s why the Rx and ESC are mounted where they are and then I have a 645mg servo that an already had and is heavy, plus the heavier Slash 4x4 bell cranks, aluminum pin brace, idler get shaft made from that inanimate carbon rod in one of the 1st pics, and tungsten putty packed into that opening in the RPM bulkhead. Even the aluminum bearing carriers and 540 sized motor should help. It’s currently using a XL5 Stampede spur gear, but if I ever change to one of the smaller spurs, that should even help by moving the motor closer to the rear shock tower. That’s even some of the reason I want to run a front wing, extra downforce for more steering! I’m even experimenting with taking the RPM 0-degree rear arm mounts and mounting them on the wrong side of the rear since that also may lengthen the wheelbase touch, which seems to work good as well as the inanimate carbon rod idler gear shaft on my 2wd Stampede.

This is interesting! I probably just missed it, but what arms did you use to make this a "long-arm" Bandit? I would be interested in hearing about how it handles with a set of buggy tires on it compared to the stadium truck tires it has right now. You know, for science?Something to help with understeer is to lower the front slightly compared to the rear. You can also use a slightly stiffer spring on the rear to encourage rotation. Most importantly, have fun!
LONG LIVE THE PROFESSOR! Rest in peace, Mr. Peart.
I’m using the RPM Arms, the fronts are the XL Rustler/Stampede arms while the rears are for the Slash/Stampede 4x4s, as are the rear carriers. Fortunately, I have a lot of adjustment for shocks and rear arms for ride height, plus I can always look for stiffer springs too!

Quick update, found my missing 3s last week and took the Bandit out for a test, and discovered that the servo arm didn’t fit the servo (I’ll admit it, I’m a dummy, tried using a 25 spline servo arm on a HiTec servoops: )
Now all that said.......
Well, I’m close to being ready
These showed up today..
And the wing is mounted for now, still gotta try to see which servo arm will work better

RazorRC mentioned on a different forum that these arms use SAE Hardware, which I had already discovered the hard way before I looked at that thread and luckily had a bunch of 4-40’s that fit for now, but plan on getting a 3mm tap and putting a 3mm back in.
All that said, here’s how it looks now,
I may go and test it after work tomorrow, there’s a couple schools near by with well lit lots since it’ll be dark by the time I’m done working any more.
