    What ESC are you running?

A typical Traxxas ESC sends 6VDC to the receiver, and should be able to power four LEDs easily. With that, I am assuming a stock setup with no modifications.

There should not be a problem with connecting LEDs to your RX. You just need to come off of one of the open RX channels with a standard servo plug (you'll only need the red and black, the orange will not be needed).

Are you looking at a particular LED kit, or are you going to wire everything up yourself?

No, no kits, just a simple led in each headlight and taillight

That will work. Just make sure the LEDs are rated for 6VDC, and make sure they all have a 100 ohm resistor in series.

    No problem.

Recommend getting Common Sense LEDs (Amazon), they come pre-wired with the resistor and they will handle up to 12VDC.
