Battery maximum

Hi all I've just got the xmaxx and loving it I run two basher batteries 5000mah 4s

My question is can a standard none upgraded xmaxx 8s take 6s lipo?

Also my other option was a 4s battery but 10000mah however they jump from 60c to 100c or above. Can this damage the car if I go above 60c

I've only just started rc so would really appreciate the help

A 100c battery will not damage anything. The ESC will only use what it needs. As for a 6s lipo X2, no that would be way too much voltage and just throw the ESC into over voltage. Use 2 x 4s batteries. 10,000 mah, if they fit would work just fine at either 60c or 100c. As I said, esc will only use what it needs.
