    I'm in the xmaxx club

I picked up a rarly used 8s for a song . It had ever seen dirt. Made sure that changed by time the day was done.

I hit up a bmx track / skate park I've never been too, bmx track was closed for winter with jumps tarped over but still got some big air, and it took some big hits and walked away.. Took it for a trail walk, so muddy. To many kids skating to try anything. this thing sucks to lug back when batteries are dead. Was about 8 blocks from truck when it died

Got 4 smc 9400mha 4s packs on order.

Truck came with a set of 5000mha ace gen 4s. It was a real pain to get the battery latch down. Not sure if those are ment to fit the xmaxx. Cover goes right over Ballance port wires as well. Didn't seem right.

I'll get the rpm axel carriers as I see those are a weak point and I'll probably need them sooner than later. Once I break stuff ill get the rpm a arms and upgrade the servo.

Get some roof skid plates ordered.

I picked up supply's to do the fiber tape and shoe goo mod to help the body last.

Already got the esc upgraded. And the xmaxx binded to my 2 other car remotes.

The erevo 2.0 got some slate park action as kids all gone after my walk, and a broken front rocker from the shock end screw pulling out. Only took about 5 mins to end that run.

So far enjoying the xmaxx not sure yet if I like it more over the erevo, need more run time, and the new toy factor. Time to see how it holds up for me.

I scrapped the stock battery hold downs a long time ago. Theyíre all but useless in bad crashes.

Should input in my rpm axel carriers now? Or wait for the old ones to blow up.

Stock gear mesh doesn't seem all that hot a little binding it seems at times. Should I go ahead and set it manually? Or wait for it to go and do it on spur gear replacement?

I converted a interior body brace to skid rails. Just need longer screws everything mounts into existing wholes and braces.

Looks good. I've seen people just remove the internal brace and make it external. I thought of doing that. I think the roof skids were cheaper...

I have noticed with my 10kmha batteries. It will roll over when doing doubts on payment. Where the 5kmha batteries doesn't do this.

But I did bash at the park for a 30min+ till once Merv and erevo broken by other drivers. driving xmaxx car there and back and then doing wheelies in front of house once dark. Cells only at 3.7v so very impressed with run time on the smc 4s.

    10K SMC 3S batteries

After much research last summer I went with the SMC 10K MAH batts.

    Love em.

I don't run that much but I have yet to drain the completely in a dozen runs.

I bashed yesterday at a tiny skate park, next to a job while unburned time before next appointment. A few min of catching good air. Then wot around the park about 30.mins play time.

Then today about 20 min at a new park with a little bmx pump track. Catching good air. Busted body mounts after falling 10ft+ onto the lid.

Got home installed new body savers and spent perhaps 30+ mins bashing on home ramp, and wot on grass at park across the street from house.

All on same battery. I was impressed. Wish I had fully timed battery run.

I need a led kit on this thing. Playing at dusk gets hard to see the car when 100yd out.

So any led kit recommendation nfor xmaxx and erevo 2.0?
