8S XMAXX wont do a wheelie anymore ??

Got a fairly new 8S Xmaxx with the 6700 traxxas 4S lipos. When I first started running it, this thing would do wheelies all day. Now for some reason it wont after a few runs. Could the tires already be getting low on grip? It does seem to just spin the tires instead of gripping. I did mess with the TSM some on the app, could that have changed the vehicle launch ?

Your center diff needs a rebuild. They dont last long on the Xmaxx

Wow, I sure hope not. That seems way to soon for a rebuild. Maybe a total of 10 runs since new ? I was just reading the manual and the knob on the radio can adjust the launch. I am wondering since i turned the knob up, it changed.

Ill have to look at the front tires spinning more, not sure. I am in Texas and its never freezing here.

As for what you posted, I drive a lot of pavement and dirt with my kids at a skate park. Is that an easy change out on the truck?

    disassemble the rear section
    pull out the diff
    install the spool
    reassemble
    1/2 hour or so

Did you adjust the shock collars? Lower the rear ride height by rising the collars, and rise the front by lowering the collars. That should help.

No, all i have played with is the TSM controls on the radio and in the phone app.

Well, did a reset on my radio and set traxxas link app back to default settings. Truck does a wheelie all day now. Not sure what or how it changed but it’s fixed.
