, one thing is sure..gonna work hard in the gravelpit, the XMAXX. It looks stunning good.

And i now know why people love this truck..missed the SD card in ma gopro, so only a short handheld phone clip..but wont upl, will wait after todays session. It has the all upgr needed. The SixPack SC feels good, grip as few and sure needs a teeth or to..

Since i am new to Xmaxx, i wounder. What gearing for my kond of bash would be safe..feels undergeared. Pinion 20..spur i asume 50 now. Running Stock 8s motor and max6 esc

No turning back now, the complete teardown of the XMAXX 8s starts today.

-New chassi
-New front and rear bulkheads upper and lower
-New diffcases fr and rear
-New Skidplates front and rear
-New Centreshaft
-New body
-New shockoils ( new setup )
-New 46T spur
-New 22T pinion

Old parts will be cleaned

Hope get some thoughts..been running the Duratrax SC 5s for a while and are real fun, geared 46/22 all working flawless...

Now i got a killer deal on X-Pioneers, app 219mm vs the 183mm...

So i was brainstorming a bit, to keep the 22T piniong would prop overheqt it?..so i went for a 18T, do we think that could be the spot?

Ok, a few questions..i got big help about gearing and it sure woke it up..kn the SC5 tires i ran 22/26. But as you see now i got the bigger LouiseRC ( same as duratrax ) Xpioneer mft. And went down to 18/46..think i am safe to go up to 20 or 22?

Q 2 . I need to use gear cover on mine, what motor can be used on this truck for more power?

Try every gear until it hits tsd

The Traxxas 1600kv motor spins 10,000rpm higher then the stock 8s motor
or a 5th scale system for over power

Did see the new V2 Video out today, he changed to the 1600 motor, and that looked perfect. I know its testing gears is the way to find the saaaaweet spot. But any pointers?

Hitting TSD after minimal run time on taller gears/ larger tires
26/46 is the ticket for short runs
20/50 an up for longer run time
