    Mod 1.5 gears

What's a good all round hearing for 1.5 gears? My current gearing is 1.0 41/54.

    WFO racing has good gears
I’d say 20/25 for a increase in speed anything smaller will be slower
To calculate the ratio divide the spur by the pinion
    Ex.
    Your current =1.31
    20/25 =1.25

¿Really the Mod 1.5 is better than stock Mod 1?

Yes it is depends on what gears you use an what motor
That gearing will only work on a big motor

Thanks for reply, at this moment, use the stock motor, is enough for me. I see on Ebay a Mod 1.5 gears that replace the stock ones (I use the stock 18/54) for 12/35, but doubt is a good choice for me.

Second thread you just have to jump in on. He’s talking about very high gearing, most likely on a larger motor. If not, he’ll need a motor and esc very soon. Going 1.5 is not necessary, unless you don’t know how to set your mesh. Don’t get me wrong I’m not hating on 1.5 gears, I have plenty on my truck I don’t “need”.
It would be great to answer to OP’s question, instead of stating unneeded facts about your situation.

Thanks, I understand you, many times, we have a lot of things that never uses or never install in our RC's

And understand the OP, his question is very different than my situation.

Yes, I have a max5 and 800kv motor. It keeps wearing out pinions. Spur gear is perfect. Just pinions. That's why I'm interested in the 1.5 gears.

Do some research before you buy anything from Wfo.
