    One, I don't get what you mean by "1/2 rpm and 1/2 aluminum". RPM is a brand, aluminum is a type of metal. Two, I don't get what you mean by, "just enough flex", or how that 'configuration' changes anything. If you removed the turnbuckles from the setup, I don't see how anything would change...all it's doing is duplicating what the shock tower does.

    adds some strength, they always bend towards the front after awhile

    here is my rustler one , its hard to see but its bend forward

    Replaced mine with CF towers...no possibility of bending. Of course, also switched to traditional body mounts, instead of the worthless 'clipless' system.

    I agree, just get carbon fiber if you want less flex, rpm shocktowers are junk. I want zero flex in shocktowers, so the suspension can work properly.
